Marker watch

Ferdowsi Clock, which is known as Markar Clock because of its founder, is a large public clock located in Markar Square in Yazd.
The site of the square, Markar High School and Markar Orphanage, was built at the expense of Markar Dusabai, a Zoroastrian living in India, and is still used for their current expenses.

There is a rumor among the people that some gold has been hidden behind the building to reconstruct the watch if it is destroyed. When Markar Pashtun came from India, he gave money to Master Ali Bahoush Eishabadi to build the Markar clock of Markar High School and Elementary School and the Zoroastrian Assembly Hall of the Yazd Temple.
